Please phone first to speak to the NHS24 receptionist who will liase with the doctor to provide medical advice, a visit or an "Out of Hours" appointment as appropriate. We would ask you to make every attempt to come to the OOH Centre whenever possible.

Please do not use the telephone to request Repeat Prescriptions. (Telephone the Chemist directly)

Joining the Practice

Patients may register by post or by attending the Surgery when you should bring your Medical Card. If this has been lost we will provide a form for you to fill in to join the Practice.

We will be keen to offer you an Initial Health Check when you register . This may be possible when you first attend or a later appointment will be arranged when we will ask you to fill in a brief questionnaire, have a few very simple tests and discuss with you which of our services are most appropriate to your needs.

Home Visits

Please ask to speak to the Duty Doctor if you feel a home visit is necessary. Please try to phone before 10am.

If you ask for a particular Doctor to visit you at home this may take longer if the Doctor is already committed to a surgery.

URGENT CALLS

URGENT CALLS at all times should be made to FORT WILLIAM 70 3773 - the usual practice number . The Duty Doctor will make every effort to attend urgent calls as soon as possible.
